Modern Slavery Statement 

1. We, Mary Quant Limited (a company registered in England and Wales with company number 615129) and Mary Quant Cosmetics Limited (a company registered in Japan have developed and adhere to the following principles in respect of "modern slavery" more particularly defined as any practice that amounts to (a) slavery or servitude (each as construed in accordance with Article 4 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms of 4 November
   1950 as amended), (b) forced or compulsory labour (as defined by the International Labour Organisation's Forced Labour Convention 1930 (No. 29) and Protocol), (c) human trafficking or (d) the arranging or facilitation of the travel of another person with a view to that person being exploited.
   2. This Statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
   3. We are committed to ensuring that modern slavery does not take place in the Mary Quant group companies or in our supply chains.
   4. We monitor suppliers in our supply chain to ensure that they comply with obligations no less
   onerous than those set out in this Statement. Steps include screening potential new suppliers, requiring suppliers to accept obligations not to engage in modern slavery and seeking access to
   relevant records and premises of our suppliers for the purposes of ensuring compliance.
   5. We accept that any whistle blower is protected from any adverse consequences of disclosing inappropriate modern slavery practices.
   6. We require our officers, employees, agents, sub-contractors and any other persons who perform services for or on behalf of us to comply with the terms of this Statement. Any officer or employee who breaches the terms of this Statement will face disciplinary action.
   7. We are giving consideration to the issue of which of our employee-related training procedures and documents should be revised to reflect t h eaims of this Statement.
   8. The board of each company has overall responsibility for complying with this Statement which will be reviewed atleast once per year.
